Responsible to the Athletic Director and/or a head coach; provides coaching, development, and supervisory responsibilities of an athletic program
Compensation for all hired extra pay positions (coaches, sponsors, ancillary instructors, etc.) is contingent upon the specific athletic, activity, or academic event being approved by the District to occur during the school year related to this position/posting. Practices and games will be held outside of the regular school day from mid-August to the 1st of October.

- Is aware of injuries to athletes and communicates with athletic trainer and parents, is proactive with injuries, makes sure athletes are medically released to return to play
- Plans for daily, weekly, monthly, and annual character development of all athlete/athletes in the program
- Produces practice plans that are detailed and assist with the advancement of individual skills progression and and strategy development
- Regularly pursues appropriate professional learning activities
- Rosters, transportation requests, certifications are handed in prior to deadlines.
- Supervises all facilities and athletes before, during, and after practices and competitions

- Typical demands require staff to lift and carry up to 20 pounds, and may be higher for some assignments depending on position and student need; climb stairs, ladders, and/or stools; reach, hold, grasp and turn objects; use fingers to operate computer keyboards; feel the shape, size and temperature of objects
